i have an official announcement... I'M GONNA BE AN AUNTY!!!  yep, that's right! jason and sarah are havin a baby! i've known for over a month, but i couldn't say anything and i was absolutely dying!!! i've secretly been buying all the cutest stuff and i can't wait to find out if it's a boy or a girl! sarah's 9 weeks along and she's due october 12th! (we won't find out if it's a boy or a girl until she's 20 weeks along!!) ahhh!  i never imagined that i would be this happy... i mean i knew i'd be excited, but i'm just exstatic! i have been ever since i found out. if i'm ever in a bad mood, i just think about the new baby, and suddenly all is well!  it's so wonderful.

NEways... well i haven't updated in forever and a day. i guess not much has been goin on here lately. james and i are doing super fabulous! i haven't been feeling too well lately, so he's been taking care of me.

on a side note, all of us at ccf went to the retreat at gatlinburg last weekend and it was so much fun! the speaker and the band weren't that super, but we all had so much fun hangin out! (the speaker was actually a missionary from Chile, so he showed this video w/spanish subtitles and it was so cool! i was actually able to translate most of it!!) a bunch of us played this silly game on the swing set like we were in elementary school again and it was a blast! (thanks to david for introducing it to all of us) =) we played pictionary to the wee hours of the morning (me, james, david, and neal won!) and watched some funny original films (based on parables of the bible... very creative and funny. ). james and i hung out a good bit with andrew (brooks) and his g/f kelli. they are super fun and it was cool to hang out with another couple. james and i have never really done that, so it was really fun. sadly tho, i didn't get to go ice skating, but we still had a blast. andrew shaved off all of david's hair, and that took about an hour =) NEways... for those of you who don't know any ccf people, this is very boring to you, so that means you should come to ccf and meet them! =)

well, it's been forever and a day since i've updated. the past couple of weeks have been crazy insane w/school work, but thankfully this week is mellow. i need to get a jump on my 3 research papers, but it's so hard to start reading thru like 20 books.  

let's see... not this past weekend, but the one before that, jason and sarah took me to athens for the gym dawgs meet (as my birthday present)!! it was sooo much fun! even though it was freezing cold, we had a fun time around the square. we ate at this cute little place that served like old timey cooking (vegetables, meatloaf, etc. w/really large portions)... i forgot the name of the place. we of course went to the bookstore and i got lots of cute stuff! a plain ole cute red georgia shirt, pink uga flip flops, a pink uga notebook, and a really nice golf shirt that was on clearance for my dad (for his bday). the gymnastics meet was so much fun (minus the stupid dad and his three little girls behind us... he was such a dork and had no control over his kids)! it made me sad that my mom made me quit gymnastics when i started high school  but of course there wasn't really time for it b/c of color guard.

NEways... this past weekend, james and i both went home to spend some time w/our families. it was nice to just relax and do nothing. i watched the olympics in awesome HD and it was fantastic! shaun white won gold and danny kass won silver (both in snowboarding)! i love me some snowboarding! tom green is in torino as a correspondent for jay leno... last night, danny kass and mason aguiree snuck him into the half pipe and tried to help him snowboard down it. it was hilarious!! he could barely go anywhere!  he also interviewed this german snowboarding trainer who couldn't really understand he english. tom green asked him if he was the one who shot up the steriods for the athletes and he just smiled and said yes. then tom asked him if he used them too, and he said "yes, that's why i'm here!" =) it was hilarious! (i mean, ya really had to see it, but it's tom green... so ya know it's funny!)

well, i guess i'm out of things to talk about...  hApPy V dAy!!!

p.s. YAY for all the pretty snow we got this weekend!!

like the new background? thought i would spice it up with some color. once again, i'm bored at work. i feel like total junk today, but i'm toughin it out b/c i don't need to miss anymore classes, especially my stupid 20th century europe class. i hate mondays, wednesdays, and surprisingly fridays... i have three stupid classes, but thankfully they're all only 50 minutes long, plus i have to work for four hours (except on fridays). but it doesn't even feel like a friday when it is; it's like no different than monday or wednesday, except i don't have to work later on.

today i have to drive up to d'ville to get a book at border's for my greece class. we have to write this paper on thucydides and i gotta go get this stupid book to help me. hopefully i won't pass out before i even leave. right now i'm trying not to breathe in b/c this guy beside me keeps coughin all over the place. what is the deal? the guy i was sitting next to in my class (right before this) was coughin like every five seconds too. i sear; i already feel like crap and i'm tryin to prevent getitng sicker... don't these people know how to cover their mouths? ick!

things are kinda crazy back at the ccf house. people are being lazy and inconsiderate. we have to have a stupid house meeting on tuesday (right before a new gilmore girls, so the meeting cannot run late!). ccf itself is doing really well though. the new leadership team is really coming together and doing lots of great things. i can't wait until the gatlinburg retreat!! NEways... i was sad to watch roger federer win AGAIN (the austrailian open). i was really pulling for bahgdatis. he beat roddick and nalbanian and was kickin butt. he actually won the first set, but then he just sorta died. but he was ranked 57th in the world goin into the match, so i'd say he was pretty freakin successful.

welp, guess i'm gonna stop typing now. eat a lil snack before stupid spanish... adios.

i'm bored at work... what a surprise. i'm listening to good tunes on my ipod, but i have another hour of boredom. i finished up all my stupid spanish homework (i still have to study for my quiz tho), but i have a little bit of greece stuff to read, i'm just not in the mood right now. i'm in an annoyed mood b/c the girl i'm workin with in the lab is stupid and annoying. she's some new girl and she tells me stuff like i haven't already been workin here for two years.

NEways... it's weird b/c right now it seems like everyone is breaking up!  like seriously... lots of people, even people that have been together for awhile. what's the deal? is there something in the air?? WEIRD.  (wtf, as this face is called!)

i heard some more good news about my summer job. the guy said that they were really excited about me being able to start in may, and he really talked like i already had a job. i'm supposed to be hearing from the woman who's in charge of hiring sometime this week... yay!! everyone keep your fingers crossed!

earlier i had some good stuff to talk about, but i'm at a loss right now. sorry to bore you, but you're probably already bored if you're reading this

what a total pooey day... ick! i wish i was lying on the couch in front of the heater, wrapped up in my pink striped blanket from allison, and watching gilmore girls.  mmm, it makes me warmer just thinkin about it. it's cold, rainy, and windy outside and there's like major rivers flowing thru the sidewalks. ahh! i get off work in 2 hours; i hope i can survive... maybe i'll actually by dry by the time i finally get to leave.

i'm trying to not be lazy, so i'm tryin to make sure i'm on top of all my history papers. i have one due friday, but it's not too big of a deal. i gotta finish some spanish hw when i get done with this... it's takin forever, so i'm glad i started on it sunday. mr guin was right; you can't eat an entire elephant in one night. (tho he really meant that for studying; it's true for writing a paper or doing really hard spanish hw.)

today i've been working on my summer job... i've been emailing this guy that's in my dad's sunday school class and i think he's hopefully gonna get me the hook up. i know a good many people that work where he does (i don't wanna give it away... i don't want y'all gettin any ideas to apply there too), so i've got a pretty good shot. he asked me when i could start working in the most recent email, so i'd say that's a pretty good sign. but i'm not gonna jinx it; i've just got my fingers crossed. i'm super excited tho!! i'll miss workin at the camp sometimes, but i don't think i could have survived another summer there. it'll be fun just to go out there to eat and hang out.

well, i know this is another short entry, but i don't have much to talk about. at least there's a greater chance for you guys to read these short ones. a new gilmore girls is on tonight, so i'm super excited. until later...
